Animals are my life I am fully dedicated to making sure every animal I take in is cared for with the best possible care i can give them

I've been doing reptile rescue for about 7 years out of my home. I have always had a passion for reptiles, but got started in rescue when I came across an iguana that was not being cared for at all by his owner. He had MBD and was very thin, I convinced the owner to let me take him and get him better and from that moment on I have been helping any and all reptiles i come across that need a voice, someone to speak for them.

I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant by trade, I worked in clinics and hospitals for about 3 years when i finally decided I wanted to focus more on saving unwanted animals and went full time into rescue. I have 21 years’ experience working with animals of all sorts, everything from domestic pets small and large, small exotics like reptiles and birds, large exotics like wolves, and even some livestock. Working in a clinic for a year in a half that rehabilitated birds of prey I learned how to handle and care for them, also got a chance to assist with a local museum and a small zoo's animals when they came in for care i gained a lot of experience with wild life. Another clinic that had a barn i learned about some live stock, cleaning up after horses, llama, pigs, goats and sheep.  The only animals i don’t like are bugs... of any kind they creep me out ;-)
